It's Time for Rubber at In the Pink

Good morning my lovely crafty friends - hope you are managing to stay cool in this fabulous water we are having in the UK at the moment.
I know some of you don't like it but I love it and hope it lasts a little longer.
Although a cool breeze wouldn't go amiss!!!

Anyway I'm about to get packed and head off to Peterborough for another Hobby House show on Create and Craft but before I do I would just like to share my DT make for the new challenge over at

and this time we would like you to

So any stamped image on your project and remember to make the main colour pink

I had a play with one of my very neglected but old-time favourite rubber flourish corner stamp and an adorable cute fluttery stamp and here's what I came up with

I started with creating the background using Picked Raspberry, Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet Distress Inks that i spritzed with some Goosebumps - this gave it a sparkly texture - not captured very well on the photos :(
Then I swooshed it onto watercolour card and dried it with my heat gun before stamping the fabulous flourish in the corners using Versamark and heat embossed with White EP.

I stamped the butterflies onto vellum and heat embossed with a sparkly EP then fussy cut.

I die cut the frame using a Spellbinders die and raised it with some foam tape over a strip of vellum I placed across the inked and stamped panel.

Finished it off with a die cut sentiment.

Our sponsor this time is
offering 1 lucky winner £10 to spend in their online store.

Please pop over to the main challenge blog to check out the stunning inspiration from my lovely DT buddies - you won't be disappointed.

Thanks for popping by to see me and for all your continued support.

Have a fabulous day.
Stay cool.

Flashy Florals - Just for You

Good afternoon lovely peeps.

Blimey it's a scorcher here in Gloucestershire today - but I love it!!!

So today I'm here to share a little inspiration using the absolutely gorgeous new

Stamps and Die Set

I love love love this set - there are so many options with it :o)

Here I simply second generation stamped the flowers with two colours of Memento inks and then over stamped with second generation Memento Black to add the detail same with the leaves and then die cut with matching dies - easy as pie!!!

A little piece of Doodlebug 'Sugar Shoppe' DP and an Altenew 'Painted Greetings' sentiment with a few sequins and pearls to finish it off.

Hope you like it.

Stay safe in the sun.

Hello - Long Time no See

Good afternoon my lovely crafty friends - long time no see!!!!
I can't believe how long it has been since I last posted on my blog - but sooooooo much has happened in that time!!!!

Before I go into detail with that I would just like to share the very CAS design card I made for

using a couple of MFT dies and some gorgeous Doodle Bug Design Paper - love this fresh colour combo!

Here are the links to the items used:
Die-Namics Transform-ables 'Say Hello'
MFT Blueprints 3 (Scallop Border)
Doodle Bug Designs 'Sugar Shoppe'

So since I last posted - Jack has had his amazing trip to Las Vegas and enjoyed every minute of it - Jamie and Aaron have celebrated their birthdays and enjoyed that too. I had a fabulous long weekend in Amsterdam with my DH - what a stunning hotel we stayed in - brilliant service and A-MAZ-ING food.

I have done 2 more Create and Craft shows for The Hobby House - that takes a lot of preparation - which is one of the key reasons I haven't been around much - but I am really enjoying the experience - I have another show booked for this Sunday 10 July live from Summer Crafting at Doncaster at 9:00am - would love to hear if you are going along to Doncaster on Sunday :o)
Then I have another 2 shows on Create and Craft USA at the end of this month - 22 July.

I did a Craft Fayre at Dumbleton on Saturday - it was very quiet but I still managed to sell quite a few things which gives me some pocket money for Doncaster lol!!!

And my latest news is I have just been appointed as a docrafts Craft Expert and will be doing my first demo day in The Range at Gloucester on Saturday 16 July and an other on Saturday 30 July at The Range in Cheltenham.

Hopefully I will get the chance to pop round your blogs a later this evening - whilst relaxing in front of the telly :o)

Thanks for popping by.
It's always good to see you.

Have a wonderful afternoon.
