Mum's the Word at Papertake Weekly

Good afternoon my lovely crafty friends.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend.
I'm pleased to report my DH loved his cards and gifts and especially loved his chocolate marble cake AND lemon dizzle loaf :o)

So today we have a new challenge over at

and this week the theme is

Which gave me the perfect opportunity to play with my new stash from Anna  Marie Designs and here's what I did with it:

Project Ingredients:

'Special Mum' MDF plaque - Anna Marie Designs
Painted with 'Primitive' Chalky Paint
Then stamped using Penny Black Letter Background stamp and Walnut Stain Distress Ink
Flowers from stash
Mixed Flower Buds
Natural Accents
Butteflies and Heart made using Masrtha Stewart Clay and Moulds

Please pop over to the main challenge blog to check out the stunning inspiration from my lovely DT buddies.

Thanks for popping by to see me today.
Enjoy the rest of the day.

Oh wow, Debs this is utterly gorgeous!

I was wondering if you had layered DP onto the plaque and how on earth you got it so neat...but it's painted and stamped...such a beautiful effect :-)

And all those fabulous flowers and butterflies finish it so perfectly.

Big hugs, Kat xx

I was so tempted to buy this from A-MD but in the end I opted for the fence. You have decorated it so beautifully that you have made me doubt my decision. Hugs, Lesley
