and as it's the last challenge we have the theme of
YOUR FAVOURITE PTW CHALLENGE
Well with so many amazing challenges over so many amazing years thanks to our amazing leader Dawny P - it was sooooooo hard to narrow it down so I bottled it and went for something seasonal for a special person in my life and chose the theme
LET IT SNOW
and here's what I did
Most of the DT will be having a prize giveaway of their own on their posts today and I too have a mystery prize to give to one commenter on my post - but you do have to enter the challenge as well in order to win the prizes. All winners will be picked by each DT member from the comments left on their own posts and announced next week on the main PTW challenge winner post.
Before I sign off I would just like to take the opportunity to thank Dawny and ALL the team at Papertake Weekly for all they have done and for giving me the chance to work alongside such a fabulous talented bunch of crafty girls - THANK YOU.
Thank you too for popping by and for all your continued support and encouragement - I really do appreciate it.
Don't be shocked but I'm here today to share a couple of non-DT cards I made at the weekend - some last minute Festive makes!!!!
And I will have a few more to share before we head off to Centre Parcs in The Lake District for a relaxing Christmas break - just me, my DH, Jack and my MiL - but we will be doing Christmas all over again next Monday with all the kids and my gorgeous Grandchildren :o)
I made 4 of this style - super simple and it's one of my most favourite Christmas images
and another design - same colour and same image just a different size and LO
After my marathon ironing session yesterday - 7 hours in total!!!! I am thrilled to say that today is the first day in many weeks months that I don't have any specific jobs to do - so I think I will have a lazy PJ day catching up with my bloggy friends whilst watching some Christmas movies and maybe eating a few choccies :o)
Mine was spent with my beautiful Grandchildren visiting a certain man in a big red suit - totally magical - just as it should be at their age.
I can hardly believe there is just over a week to go - and still sooooooooo much to do - hoe you are more organised than I seem to be this year!!!!
Anyway I am really here to share my DT make for the new challenge over at
and as today is our very own lovely leader Dawny P's birthday the theme is
Here's what I did:
I also have some very sad news to share - next week will be the very last challenge from
Papertake Weekly - after 8 fabulous years we have decided the time is right to finish and we will be going out with a mahooooosive bang next week.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dawny P for giving me the chance to work alongside some amazingly talented ladies - it has been a huge honour to be part of this team - a true highlight in my little crafty journey - THANK YOU xx
I should be tucking in to either some scummy lunch or another cup of coffee and cake whilst you are reading this - as I am meeting my lovely DT buddies Kat and Sue from In the Pink and I am so excited :o)
But the real reason I'm here today is to share my DT make for the new challenge over at
Good morning my lovely crafty friends
Long time no see!!!
I seem to have lost my Blogging Mojo but luckily not my Crafty Mojo as I am stacked out with Craft Fayre makes, magazine commissions and my own personal cards for friends and family - maybe there just isn't anymore time left for me to blog as well - over and beyond my DT makes and requirements - thank goodness I still have those to get me on here :o)
I am sure things will settle down very soon - I have a Christmas Craft Fayre this evening and then my last one a week on Saturday - I had to say no to 3 others as I know I just couldn't do them justice with so little time available - but nice to know they wanted me hahaha!!!
Anyway I have my DT make for the new challenge over at IN THE PINK
to share with you today. I can't tell you how much time I spent trying to decide what image to use as the theme is
YOUR FAVOURITE STAMP/IMAGE
I have sooooooo many favourites - depending on the mood and who the card/project is for so I really struggled to pinpoint a specific favourite. However, I totally love the Gorjuss Girls and they were one of my very first purchases many moons ago when I began on this road of creativity so I decided to choose one of those and here's what I did:
Please pop over to the main challenge blog to check out the awesome inspiration from my lovely DT buddies.
Our fabulous sponsor this week is
offering 1 lucky winner £10 to spend in their online store.
Thanks for popping by.
Have a fabulous day.
I'm off to get the car packed and ready for this evening.
Don't fall over but I'm back again with another post - twice in one week must be on a roll lol!!!
Well maybe not on a roll but thank goodness for DT commitments or I might not get on here at all!!!
I'm feeling a little lost this morning as Jack spent the night at his girlfriend's house - first time I have allowed him to stay on a school night - a sign he is growing up and I am trying to embrace it - but it's not easy :o(
So today I have a rather pathetic effort for my DT make to share with you for the new challenge over at
Hope you are all well and those not I wish well soon.
Once again I find myself starting my post with an apology for being absent and a bad blogger but this time it's because I have been a little bit poorly :o(
Nothing serious just a stonking headache and nausea - I think Jack kindly passed on a bug that he had the week before.
Happy to report that although I still have a headache I am not feeling sick anymore - thank goodness!!!!
Unfortunately though it did mean I had to cancel my trip to the NEC on Thursday which meant I didn't get the chance to meet up with some lovely blogging buddies - in particular Marianne and Lynsey - so sorry I didn't make it - will have to try again next year :o)
As you can imagine I felt rather sorry for myself for a few days but a day spent with all the girls - including Jack's girlfriend - and all the boys on Sunday soon cheered me up :o)
So today I'm here to share my DT project for the new challenge over at
and this week the lovely Dawny has picked the theme
I decided to make another piece of Festive Home Decor - hope you're not getting bored with them!!
The last one of these I shared with you was decorated with Traditional colours so I thought this would be an alternative Contemporary theme to offer on my Craft table - my first Christmas Craft Fayre is this Sunday - eek!!!!
and this week our lovely Dawny has picked the theme
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BASE
So no square projects this week.
I think it would be fair to say I might just about have it covered with this piece of Festive Home Decor that I have made for one of my upcoming Christmas Craft Fayres -
although this may not make it either (see this post) as my DiL has her eye on it lol!!!

Hope to play 'catch-up' (again) with you all later this evening as my DH will be away in Manchester for work so I shall have the TV on in the background and MacBook on my lap having a good old bloggy browse.
