Fi's 40th Mini Book

Good evening. What an awful wet miserable day it has been today - it has been raining most of the day - good for the gardens but not good for school sports day - Jack's had to be cancelled so all that training at the weekend was to no avail lol!!!
Anyway - onto today's project I would like to share with you and it is a mini book that I have made for my best friend who celebrated her 40th birthday last year - so this has been some time in th eplanning stages before I actually got round to putting it together - but better late than never! I delivered it to her this morning and she loved it!

I started with a Kaisercraft blank circrular chipboard book and decorated the 'pages' with various co-ordinating papers in Pinks. I then used TH Crackle Paint in Worn Lipstick to colour the chipboard edges and distress the papers. The pages have been embellished with various Wild Orchid and Prima flowers, Martha Stewart punched butterflies and adhesive pearls.

I would like to enter this into the 'no cards allowed' challenge at Creative Cottage this week.

Thanks for popping over.
Hope to be back later with a card share as well.
