Good evening. I thought I would have a go at making some of these 'shabby chic' style flowers that I have seen on a number of blogs recently - not too sure they are a 'floral delight' - what do you think?
I was inspired to have a go as the current challenge over at Polka Doodles this week is 'Summer Blossoms' and at Die Cut Dreams the theme is 'Shabby Chic'.
My 'flowers' were made using the 3 smallest scallop circle nesties and cut from MME DP's then spritzed liberally with Pearl Glimmer Mist and well and truly scrunched and unscrunched then layed and atatched to the base card with a matching coloured brad.
The butterflies are made with a Martha Stewart punch - so it fits the challenge at The Crafty Pad - 'Give your project a Punch' and the border is also a Martha Stewart punch.
Finished off with a recycled ribbon from some new PJ's and some gorgeous adhesive pearls from Hobby House
Thanks for popping over.
Enjoy your evening.
