Pretty in Pink & Tilda's Feeling Blue

Good afternoon. I have had a little play time this morning and have made two cards - one in pink and one in blue.

The first one is for Penny Black challenge - where they want to see buttons on your project:

I started by corner punching a square piece of white cardstock and then distressed with Worn Lipstick distress ink. I stamped the swirl & PB Fireworks image with Perfect Medium & embossed with True White EP and then added some Pink Distress Stickles to the flower heads and a few buttons to the swirl.
Finishes with a ribbon, spotty button & bow from stash - matted onto a larger square pink cardstock with the corners punched with Martha Stewart punch. A few MS butterflies to finish it all off and a Pink Petticoat sentiment.

My blue card is for the Magnolia Challenge - 'Punch It Out' and Totally Papercrafts want to see 'distressing'

Here I started by stamping Tilda and then masked her off and stamoing the Hero Arts frame & Flower image. The images have been coloured with PM's. The DP's are K&Co - edges have been distressed and inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Inks. The inside corners of the basecard have been punched with MS corner punch - a few MS punched butterflies, ribbon from stash and some gorgeous Wild Orchid flowers to finish it off.

Hope you are having a lovely day.
Thanks for popping over.

Both lovely Debs, especially like what you have done with the pink one, the embossig is so subtle and gives a real elegant feel.
