C.R.A.F.T Challenge

The challenge this week over at C.R.A.F.T challenge blog is to create something for a special age/anniversary i.e something number specific. This suited me down to the ground as I had a 50th birthday card to make for my brother-in-law.
First I stamped the 'diamond' background stamp onto navy cardstock with perfect medium clear ink pad and then dusted over with Cosmic Shimmer mica pigment powder - Pewter Grey. I then stamped the 'clock collage stamp' onto black cardstock with perfect medium clear and dusted with Pale Gold, Red Bronze & Midnight Blue Cosmic Shimmer mica pigments. I spritzed another piece of black cardstock with Cosmic Shimmer misters in Rich Gold & Purple Violet and then stamped the clock face three times with perfect medium clear ink pad and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Bright Gold metallic embossing powder. I mounted these onto gold mirror board and then mounted them onto the background card and then mounted onto the base card. I added the all important 50th numbers - from a kit from QVC and finished with a Happy Birthday sentiment.
Thanks for popping by - all comments are very welcome.
Have a great day.

Hi Deb

What a wonderful card - I love what you have done with those mica powders. Really effective. (Mine have sat in a drawer for far too long - you have inspired me to get them out!!).

Happy Sunday!

Love Jules xx
