Sketchie Free For All at Papertake Weekly

Good afternoon my lovely crafty friends.
Hope you are all well and those not I wish well soon.

Today I'm here to share my DT make for the new challenge over at

and as it's the last Tuesday of the month - wow where did that month go!!!!
it's time for a

SKETCHIE FREE FOR ALL

So you could use the fabulous new sketch Dawny P has made for us - as I did - or you could use any other sketch from the PTW archives - just remember to let us know which one :o)

I had a blast playing with some new goodies and this is what I came up with:

And here's how I did it:

I started by creating the background using Sue Wilson 'Bold Snowflake' stamps and 'Feathery Snowflake' stamps - stamped with Adirondack Ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder - and then inked all over with Weathered Wood Distress Ink. I also added PVA glue to the edge and dipped it in Ranger Clear Rock Candy.

I also embossed a panel of card using Sue Wilson 'Snowflake Lattice' embossing folder and inked with Weathered Wood Distress Ink and added Clear Rock Candy to the edges.

Sue Wilson 'Let it Snow' die cut in white then inked with Perfect Medium and heat embossed with Stamp n Bond and sprinkled with Clear Rock Candy - this is soooooooo twinkly IRL. Then I die cut another in black and offset to create a shadow.

A few Martha Stewart punched snowflakes some adhesive pearls, ribbon and tinsel from stash to finish it off.

Pretty in Glitter at Divas by Design

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.
Hope you are having a wonderful week so far.

Today I'm here to share my DT make for the new challenge over at

and this week the theme is

PRETTY IN GLITTER

So keeping with my Festive Decor makes for my upcoming Christmas Craft Fayres here's what I did:

And here's how I did it:

I started by painting the MDF bauble with Indigo Blu 'Frosty Sky' Acrylic Paint and then dry brushed a little White Gesso over the top.
When it was completely dry I stamped the snowflakes from the LOTV Christmas Icons set all over using Perfect Medium and then heat embossed with True White EP.
I die cut two small Spellbinders Heirloom Ornament 2011 and inked with Weathered Wood Distress Ink whilst still in the die and then over-stamped the Swirly Tree Image from the LOTV Christmas Icons set using the same ink.
When dry I added picked out some detail with a Quickie Glue pen and sprinkled with Glamour Dust.
I also added glue around the edge of the MDF bauble and dipped it in Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels and sprinkled with Glamour Dust for some extra sparkle :o)
Finishing off with a couple of teeny silver cord bows and a stamped sentiment.
It really is 'blingalicious' IRL.

Please pop over to the main challenge blog to see the gorgeous inspiration from the rest of my DT buddies.

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.
Hope you are ready for a wonderful weekend whatever you have planned.
Not too sure what we are doing - but there will definitely be a walk involved and obviously some time will be spent in my little crafty haven - hopefully playing with some new stash that I am expecting to be delivered this morning :o)

Festive Home Decor

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.
Hope you are well and had a wonderful week and are ready for a fabulous weekend ahead.
Jack will be continuing his birthday celebrations with his friends tomorrow - a group of 'couples' are going for a meal at Nando's - no parents allowed - we will just be providing the funds and the taxi service lol!!! No more jelly and ice cream parties here then!!!

Today I have no DT makes to share with you so I thought I would take the opportunity to share one of the Festive Home Decor items I have made ready for the 4 Christmas Craft Fayres I have booked in November.

Here's what I did:

I started by painting the Anna Marie Design 'Sleigh' with Chalk Paint and then when it was dry I stamped the flourish all over using Perfect Medium and dusted with Copper Mica Powder - which is really sparkly when the light hits it - you can just about see it in the top photo in the top left corner of the sleigh :o)
I then inked the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and also inked the uber cute AMD Reindeers with the same DI
Raffia, pearl sprays, snowflake charm all from stash
Mini Snowballs and Pine Cone and Gold Berries - AMD
This Way for Christmas Stamp - AMD

I absolutely loved putting this together and think I will definitely need to get some more sleighs to play with :o)

I will have another Festive Make to share with you tomorrow :o)

Before I go I would just like to share some fabulous photos of my adorable Grandchildren
starting with my snuggalicious Granddaughter Ruby Mae's first 'selfie' taken on her Daddy's phone lol!!

Then my squidgilicious Grandson Oliver feeding the ducks and swans with Granddad:

And my scrummilicious Granddaughter Lola Arizona dressed up for her trip to Euro Disney to celebrate her Mummy's 30th Birthday

I know I always say it but I am truly blessed with such a beautiful family - beautiful inside and out.

Thanks for you friendship and support.
Have a wonderful day.

OMG Jack is 16!!!

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.
Usually at this time on a Wednesday morning I would be busy 'playing' with my squidgilicious Grandson Oliver but his Mummy is at home today.

He will be coming later though as all the family will be here to celebrate Jack's 16th birthday today!!!

I can hardly believe it was 16 years ago today that we were blessed with such a gorgeous bundle of joy - looking back at photos of Jack when he was a baby/toddler/infant he was always so happy and smiling. Not so much as he hit the teens lol!!!
But he did have a smile on his face this morning when he opened his gifts whilst eating his favourite breakfast - pancakes with lemon and sugar :o)

So today I would like to share a couple of cards I made for the birthday boy

Love this Mo Manning image and as Jack rarely has his iPhone or iPad out of his hands it is just perfect for him!!!

And so is the next set of stamps I used on this card

Right I best get on - busy day ahead - got to do some HW and then Pilates much earlier than usually before picking the birthday boy up from school and then a scrummy family tea.

Hopefully I'll catch up with you all soon.

Thanks for calling by today.
Have a fabulous day.
