Moody Blues at MAWTT

Good morning my lovely crafty friends. Hope you are having a great week - so far - not long until the weekend and my DH's birthday :o)

This week I'm playing host over at

and I have picked this mood board as the challenge theme to take inspiration from:

And here's what I decided to do:

I was super excited to make this card as it will be for my eldest son Jamie and his girlfriend Rowena who have just got engaged - although it's not official until 05 April as that's when the party is lol!!!
No date set for the Wedding yet - but they are looking at September 2015 -  maybe.
So plenty of time to get my butt into gear and lose some weight (I hope) and to find the right outfit!!!

Card Ingredients:
Image: LOTV 'Close Your Eyes'
Colouring Medium: Copics
Design Papers: LOTV Nitwits 'Petal Fresh'
Dies: Joy Crafts 'Lacey Square Frame' Doo Hickey 'Sprawling Ferns'
Martha Stewart: Scalloped Heart Border Punch
Tonic Studios Mini Butterfly Punch
Fancy Heart Charm from The Hobby House
Adhesive Pearls from The Hobby House
Ribbon and Flowers from stash

Please pop over to the main challenge blog to check out the stunning inspiration from my lovely Team A DT buddies.

Challenges I would like to enter:

LOTV Monthly Challenge - BINGO (Ribbon, Pearls and Flowers)
Loves Rubberstamps - Anything Goes
Tip Top Tuesday - 3,5,7 (3 Design Papers, 5 Colours of Flowers, 7 Pearls)
Crafting From the Heart - Anything Goes - Use Dies
Perfectly Rustics - Shades of 1 Colour
Stamps and Fun - Hearts

I have also been busy making their Engagement Party Invitations.
Initially I was going to stamp the design but then I decided it was about time I had a go at using my
Serif Craft Artist and this is what I came up with:

The darker colour is chocolate brown - not black as it looks on the photos :o(

This is just a few of the 50 I made in total :o)

I was quite pleased with the result and thrilled to say that Rowena loved them too :o)

Thanks for popping by to see me today - I really do appreciate all your support and always look forward to reading any comments you may wish to leave.

Have a fabulous day.
