All or Nothing at Sweet Stampin'

Hello again lovely peeps.
As promised in my earlier post today I'm back with another DT share and this time it's for the new challenge over at

and this week Team Abi are sharing inspiration on the theme

ALL OR NOTHING

Basically that means lots of layers or just one layer - you choose whichever suits you best.

Obviously I went with the LOTS of layers option :o)
I was recently asked to make an engagement card for a friend and they wanted the man to have ginger hair and the lady to have long dark hair and if possible a dog as well!!!!
Of course I said it wasn't possible to add the dog - but they were happy with the end result :o)

I used one of my most favourite colour combos - Pink, Black and Grey - so pretty don't you think?

Card Ingredients:

Image: LOTV 'Close Your Eyes'
Colouring Medium: Copics
Design Papers: Nitwits FQB 'With This Ring'
Pleated Ribbon and Adhesive Heart Gems from stash

Clean and Simple at AGOAC

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.
I'm so glad it's finally the weekend - this week seems to have dragged on :o(

I'm hoping the weather improves so I can get out for a lovely walk with my DH - which will give me the opportunity to try out my special toe mould I had made earlier in the week at my first visit to the podiatrist when I discovered the pain in my foot I experience when walking is caused by a condition called Morton's Neuroma - seriously if it's not one thing it's another these past few years!!!!
But I won't let it get me down and hopefully the toe mould and the customised insoles I'm waiting to be made will make all the difference.

Anyway enough wallowing here's the real reason I'm here and that's to share my DT make for the new challenge over at

and this week I'm playing host and I have chosen the theme

CLEAN AND SIMPLE

I picked this gorgeous rose from Pink Gem Designs to work with and created my card in Serif Craft Artist and here's what it looks like:

So simples but I think it's quite effective - hope you do too :o)

Please pop over to the main challenge blog to check out the gorgeous inspiration from my lovely DT buddies.

I'll be back in the blink of an eye with my second DT share for the day - that's definitely not so Clean and Simple!!!

Thanks for calling by to see me today and for all your continued support.

Take Your Pick at Papertake Weekly

Good afternoon my lovely crafty friends.
I can't believe it's been so long since I posted anything - well 5 days is a long time for me :o)
But I have been really busy with family visits and sleepovers.

Then to top it all my laptop seems to be running really slow - I spent over six hours last Thursday running a full system scan trying to see if there were any problems and then had to run another scan in safe mode to remove some suspicious files - it still seems to be running very slow though so I might need to book it in for a 'proper healthcheck' :o(

So today we have a new challenge over at

and this week we have our usual end of the month theme of

TAKE YOUR PICK

with the options of using either Sketch #98 , Cool Colours, Use Kraft and/or Masking

I took on the challenge of using all of the options and this is what I came up with:

I started be stamping the Heartfelt Creations Botanical Rose image and then masked that off before stamping the Penny Black Script usinbg Perfect Medium and then heaty embossed with True White EP.
Rose image coloured with Copics and background inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
Design Papers: Craftwork Cards 'Time for Tea'
Sentiment: Pink Petticoat 'Lovely Mum'
Kraft card, Adhesive Pearls and Ribbon from stash

Simon Says Stamp
