A Wee Rowan Fairy for The Stamp Basket

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.
I'm here with my usual little Sunday Inspiration using some scrummy stash from

and this week I am sharing an uber cute card made with one of the gorgeous Craft Kits that Janet has recently added to the shop.

This is the 'Rowan Fairy Kit'

**New** Rowan Fairy Kit

It contains a selection of scrummy Wild Rose Studio 'Antique Library' Design Papers, with 4 pre-coloured Hobby House 'Rosetta' collection die cut toppers 'Wee Rowan Fairy' and 'Wee Sweet Sparkle' 4 shaped Craftwork Cards and envelopes together with a selection of embellishments - enough to make 4 scrummy cards all for a fabulous price of £6.49 - and there will be some scrummy stash leftover too :o)

Here's what I did with it:

Why not grab a cuppa and pop over to see what other fabulous Craft Kits are available and to browse through the huge Summer Sale - some items have a mahooosive 40% discount :o)

Apologies for not being around much this week - Wednesday I had my snuggalicious Granddaughter Ruby Mae all day - then Friday my squidgilicious Grandson was here all day and had a sleepover. I was shattered yesterday and spent most of the afternoon snoozing!!!
Today I'm going to Southsea (in Portsmouth) to see my scrummilicious Granddaughter Lola Arizona but hope to catch up with you all this evening and tomorrow.

Thanks for popping by to see me.
Hope you are having a fabulous weekend.

A 'Wee' Christmas Wall Hanging at The Hobby House

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.
Well I can't believe we are just about at the end of the first week of the school holidays - (Jack's school had inset days on Monday and Tuesday of this week) - but as always where there is a negative there is also a positive and that means we are just over two weeks away from our jolly holibobs.
I'm so looking forward to this holiday - I have always wanted to stay in a villa with our own private pool - so we are and we are taking one of Jack's friends so everyone should be happy :o)

Anyway enough of that the real reason I'm here is to share another Festive make with you as we are celebrating

over at

Last year I had a fabulous day out a LOTV and we made a gorgeous wall hanging. So I decided to make another using my favourite (of the moment) Nordic Christmas DP's and an uber cute Wee Stamps pre-coloured topper.
I think they make a fabulous keepsake:

Ingredients used:
Image: Wee Stamps Pre-Coloured Die Cut Topper 'Christmas Berry'
Design Papers: First Edition 'Nordic Christmas'
Embellishments from: The Nordic Christmas Kit
Pearl String
Kraft Card
Bazzill Cardstock
Marianne Createables Poinsettia Die - die cut using Velvet Paper - so scrummy!!!
Wooden Dowel
Wired String

I spent a wonderful day yesterday with my snuggalicious Grand-daughter Ruby Mae whilst her Mummy was Wedding Dress shopping - but that was not too successful - still not found 'the one'
So hopefully I'll have the joy of playing with Ruby Mae another day whilst Rowie and her Mum go Wedding Dress hunting again :o)

Well the sun is shining and the garden is calling so this is what I have planned for most of the day:

Thanks for calling in to see me today and for all your continued support.
Have a fabulous day whatever you have planned.

Star Wreath Tutorial for The Hobby House

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.
Hope you are well and those not I wish well soon.

A few weeks ago I posted this make and a couple of you asked if I could do a tutorial for it.
So today I would like to share another Star Wreath - with a step by step guide how I made it using some scrummy stash from

Items required:

Two die cut circle frames – I used the largest Spellbinders Decorative Circles One with Spellbinders Grand Circles Plain but you could use whatever you have and make it any size you want.
This size needs:
 13 x 3” stars cut from card
12 x 3” stars cut from Design Paper – here I have used First Edition Nordic Christmas
12 x 2” stars cut from card
12 x punched snowflakes
Co-ordinating Buttons and Pearls for embellishing
A piece of ribbon to make a hanger

Step One:

Adhere the two circle frames together and then cover with the 13 x 3” card stars.

Step Two:

Score the Design Paper stars and then pinch each star point to create a mountain fold down the centre of each point and a valley fold between each point.

Step Three:

Adhere the 12 Design Paper stars onto the card stars – place them at 12 O’Clock, 1 O’Clock, 2 O’Clock etc – slightly overlapping as you go.
Step Four:

Adhere the buttons to the centre of the Design Paper Stars
Adhere the pearls to the snowflakes and then adhere the snowflakes to the smaller card stars and place in between the Design Paper stars.
Finally adhere a ribbon loop behind the ’12 O’Clock’ star ready to hang your gorgeous wreath.

Before I go though I would just like to thank you all for the good luck messages you left me for the Craft Fayre I went to on Sunday. It was fairly quiet but I did manage to sell quite a few of my MDF heart plaques and a couple of cards - overall covered the cost of the table (which at £25 was quite high) and made a few more pennies to take to the Great British Craft Festival next month to buy some more stash. I am so looking forward to going to this show as I will be meeting up with my very bestest blogging buddy Claire and I can't wait to see her :o)

Thanks for popping by to see me today.
I'll be back in a little while with my DT share for the new challenge over at Papertake Weekly.

Now I'm off to see my snuggalicious Grand-daughter Ruby-Mae and go for lunch with her Daddy.

Enjoy your day whatever you have planned.

A CAS Snowflake for The Stamp Basket

Good morning.
Hopefully Mr Blogger is playing nicely and has posted this scheduled post for me whilst I am currently getting ready for my Craft Fayre in Cheltenham today.
I'm also keeping my fingers crossed that the weather is a whole lot better than it was yesterday - following horrendous thunderstorms on Thursday and Friday night we had torrential rain most of yesterday - until teatime when the sun decided to put in an appearance - how bizarre!!!

Anyway I here with my usual Sunday morning inspiration using some scrummy stash from

and as we are still showcasing

I have another Festive make to share with you - this time I've kept it CAS

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Marianne Creatables Snowflake and as you can see it's big (and beautiful) enough to be the centre piece of my CAS design.
I blinged up my snowflake using Stamp and Bond then lashings of Crystal Glamour Dust
A little strip of some of my most favourite (of the moment) Nordic Christmas DP together with some May Arts Red Burlap, Eggshell Vintage Style Ribbon and a gorgeous snowflake charm - all from one of the fabulous Nordic Christmas kits.
Sentiment from Whimsy Christmas Sayings.
A few punched snowflakes with some Hobby House adhesive pearls

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
Thanks for popping by to see me.
Will let you know how the Craft Fayre went later.

It's a Blue Christmas at Winter Wonderland

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.
Hope you are all well and not suffering too much in this heat we are experiencing in the UK at the moment.
I love it - hoping it lasts for the next 3 weeks before we head off to sunny Spain for a couple of weeks - but I don't suppose it will!!!

So today Jack breaks up from school for the summer holidays - yesterday he said he had the best day ever at school - his house won the house championship for the year and he was picked as the representative of his house to accept the trophy in a whole school assembly - can't wait to see the photos :o)
Then his house all had a special fun activity afternoon - the PE staff constructed a water slide on the playing field - going down a massive hill - they had a BBQ - played football - had water balloons and sponges - generally all round perfect fun and activities for the warm weather.

So onto my DT share for today which given the weather we are having seems rather strange - but as it's for

that explains it all lol!!!!
