Shabby Chic or Vintage at In the Pink with Anything Goes at The Sugar Bowl

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.

A super quick post from me this morning as my squidgilicious Grandson Oliver is on his way to play.

This will be one of the last play days we have before the summer holidays when Mum breaks up from   work (she works in a nursery attached to a school so has all the school holidays off) and then he starts school in September - I can hardly believe how quick the years have flown by!!!

Speaking of which I have some photos of my very handsome youngest son Jack ready to party at his school Prom last night to share with you - it only seems like yesterday I shared a photo of him dressed up in his school uniform when he started secondary school 5 years ago!!!

But before that I have my 'joint' DT make to share with you for

where the theme this fortnight is

SHABBY CHIC OR VINTAGE
(but don't forget to make it PINK)

and

where the theme this month is

Trio-Tastic at Papertake Weekly

Good afternoon my lovely crafty friends.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend and a great start to the week.

Yesterday we had some new beds delivered - a small double for Jack and a MAHOOOOSIVE Super King size for me and my DH.  I was quite sure they said they would build both beds but when they got here they said they only build Divan beds and as ours was a leather bed frame they couldn't/wouldn't do it so that meant we had to do it ourselves!!!

So after just over 4 hours of 'fairly calm' building I was soooooo ready for a good night's sleep in our monster of a bed!!!!

Of course all that meant I had no time to have a play in my little crafty haven so I had to get my DT make for the new challenge over at

made super quick this morning so I decided to make use of the gorgeous Crafter's Companion Kimono CD-Rom again and here's what I came up with for the theme

TRIO-TASTIC

Love the images and colours on this CD and the toppers make for a super easy and super quick card.
I simply added some ribbon, ric rac and a heart charm tied on with some button twine and finished with my trio of butterflies.

Please pop over to the main challenge blog to check out the fabulous inspiration from my DT buddies.

Challenged I would like to enter:

Thanks for popping by to see me today.
Hope to play catch up with you whilst lazing in front of the TV this evening :o)

Have a fabulous day.

Summer Time at A Gem of a Challenge and a Boo Boo!!!

Good morning my lovely crafty friends.
I am sooooo glad it's the weekend - and although I still have lots to do before we go away next weekend (officially on countdown now lol!!!!) at least it is all from the comfort of my own home!!!

All the boys and all the girls are coming for Sunday lunch tomorrow - even my scrummilicious Granddaughter Lola Arizona will be here too - I am super excited to have all my gorgeous Grandchildren together - it doesn't happen too often so I love it when it does.

We are also having new beds delivered on Monday so will have to dismantle and dispose of the old beds on Sunday - how handy to have all the boys here to help *wink *wink!!!

Anyway I am here today to share my DT make for the new challenge over at

and to tell you about the boo boo I made for my DT make for

So the theme at AGOAC this time is

SUMMER TIME

and originally that was the same theme at Sweet Stamping' so obviously I thought it would make sense to combine my DT make for the two.
But we had a change of theme at Sweet Stampin' - and although I registered the change at the time - when it came to making my card - I totally forgot and went on my merry way with the Summer Theme - oppsssss - what a wally!!!!!

Anyway here is my Summer Time card
Card Ingredients:

Colouring Medium: Copics
Design Papers: A Selection from Pink Petticoat
MFT Flower Trio
Doodlebug Enamel Dots

The prize as always is

2 Individual Digi images
(NO SETS, PERSONALISED WATERMARK'S OR SENTIMENT SETS)
of the winners choice from PINKGEM DESIGNS.....

Please pop over to the main challenge blog to check out the fabulous summery inspiration from my lovely DT buddies.

It would be great if you could pop over to Sweet Stampin' too to see what I should have followed for the theme and to see that gorgeous inspiration from my other lovely DT buddies.

Anything But a Card at Winter Wonderland

Good evening my lovely crafty friends.

Sorry I'm late to the party with my DT make for the new challenge over at

Obviously I totally forgot to schedule this post as well as yesterday's whilst I was enjoying a fabulous day out at The Races at Royal Ascot for my future DiL Rowena's Hen Party - I do have some photos to share with you at the end of this post.

So theme for the week's challenge is:

ANYTHING BUT A CARD

But don't forget to make it a Christmas project :o)

I decided to make a Gift Card Holder and here it is:

I will definitely be making a lot more of these for the Festive Season.

Please pop over to the main challenge blog to check out the fabulous inspiration from my lovely DT buddies.

Our sponsor this week is

Have a wonderful evening.
I think it will be a VERY early night for me tonight.

And one of my most favourite photos even if it is blurred is this one of me with my sister and my two brothers and all our significant other halves.
We haven't all been together for six years so it was all just a little emotional!!!

Hope I haven't bored you too much with the blurry photos!!!

I am busy trying to get my latest magazine commissions completed before we head off on our jolly holibobs soon and to also trying to get ahead with some DT makes but I hope to play catch up with you all a little later.
